This scholarship was established in honor of Roy Busby – alumnus, faculty member and interim dean of the Mayborn School of Journalism. The award is open to incoming or current students of the Mayborn Graduate Institute of Journalism at UNT and is based on need and ambition. The GPA requirement (3.0) is the same as the graduate school. Applicants may be full-time or part-time graduate students.
