Student Awards for the Conference
The Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference offers several student awards (registration waivers) to the annual conference. This event is scheduled for July 19-21, 2013 at the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center in Grapevine, Texas. These awards are open to students attending community college or university in the U.S. DEADLINE: June 3, 2013.
Minority Awards sponsored by The Dallas Morning News
To be eligible for one of the five awards, you must enrolled in community college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA and be able to attend the entire weekend of the Mayborn Conference scheduled July 19-21, 2013.
Elizabeth Marshall Memorial Awards
To be eligible for one of the two awards, you must be enrolled at the University of North Texas in Mayborn School of Journalism or Mayborn Graduate Institute of Journalism and be able to attend the entire weekend of the Mayborn Conference July 19-21, 2013.
To be eligible, you must be enrolled at the University of North Texas in Mayborn School of Journalism or Mayborn Graduate Institute of Journalism with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and able to attend the entire weekend of the Mayborn Conference July 19-21, 2013.
