The following journalism scholarships require an additional essay beyond the one required for the general scholarship application:

Arab and Islamic Journalism Scholarship 1000-word on interest as it relates to Arab or Islamic cultures
Bill Ford/SWOOP Scholarship 1000-word on interest in field of advertising
Dr. James L Rogers PR Scholarship 1000-word on interest in the field of public affairs, issues management, corporate communication or crisis communications. State reasons for choice and preparations/skills needed.
Les Dames D’Escoffier Scholarship Submit a food story (restaurant review, chef interview, food feature article on a cuisine, beverage or health issue or trend)

Your general essay will count toward the following essays (no additional essays are required), but these may require additional materials:

Advertising Scholarship 500-word essay that describes the applicant's career goals in Advertising, and, if a continuing student, positive experience as a student in the Mayborn School of Journalism.
