Open to Strategic Communications or Public Relations majors with at least 60 semester hours and a minimum 3.2 GPA. Requires separate essay demonstrating interest in public affairs, issues management, corporate communications, or crisis communications. Dr. Rogers joined the UNT faculty in 1953 as journalism professor and news service director and received emeritus status when he retired in 1996. He wrote The Story of North Texas, the most comprehensive history of the university. He also served in World War II.
