The Advertising Agency Leadership Certification focuses on courses that provide a solid foundation for an advertising professional to lead a team of advertising specialists who work in advertising agencies. It is designed to provide additional training and experience to students majoring in Advertising, Art and Design, Marketing or Management.
The certificate is not a separate major track, but rather an extension of the standard required coursework offered by the Advertising Concentration of the Journalism major. To qualify, students must meet specific departmental requirements.
