Denton Community Television

The mission of Denton Community Television (DCTV) is to give a voice to the people of Denton, as provided by the First Amendment, while providing educational opportunities in community media to citizens, students and professionals.

The Frank W. and Sue Mayborn School of Journalism operates the City of Denton's public access channel, DCTV.

The station provides a media outlet for information and diverse points of view from the citizens of Denton on Charter Cable Channel 191 and Frontier FIOS Channel 39.

DCTV produces programming for citizens and journalism students from both the News and Strategic Communications departments produce programming including a local newscast, sports talk show and public service announcements.

Mayborn broadcast news students also provide reports for newscasts on the City's government access channel, Denton Television (DTV).
