American Copy Editors Society Scholarships

Undergraduate (junior/ senior) & graduate students with an aptitude for editing are invited to apply for five scholarships totaling $6,500 awarded by the Education Fund of the American Copy Editors Society.

American Society of Magazine Editors Scholarship

The scholarship honors the memory of Osborn Elliott, who was Editor in Chief of Newsweek from 1960 to 1976 and Dean of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism from 1978 to 1986.

Asian American Journalists Association Scholarships

Broadcast Education Association Scholarships

Center on Conflict and Development Student Media Grant

ConDev’s Student Media Grants award up to $5,000 to current students interested in capturing conflict-related issues facing fragile and conflict-affected areas of the world through stunning photography.

Chips Quinn Scholarships

Headliners Foundation of Texas Journalism Scholarship
The Headliners Foundation annually awards scholarships to outstanding communication students and college journalists attending universities across the state of Texas.

Inter-American Press Association Scholarships

Annual $20,000 awarded to journalists and journalism school graduates who are between ages 21 and 35 and who wish to study in and report from a foreign country for a period of one year.

The Jack Shelley Broadcast Scholarship

The Northwest Broadcast News Association awards one $1,250 scholarship each year to be used for broadcast education.

The LAGRANT Foundation's (TLF) 2015 Scholarship

National Association of Black Journalists Scholarships

NABJ awards scholarships annually to deserving full-time students interested in pursuing careers in journalism. Scholarships are worth up to $2,500. Must be a member of NABj to apply.

National Association of Hispanic Journalists Scholarships

NAHJ offers scholarships for each school year to full-time undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in journalism in English or Spanish-language media, or both.

National Press Photographers Foundation Scholarships

Eight scholarships and grants open for application for photographers studying full-time or returning to college.

Overseas Press Club Foundation Scholarship

$2,000 grants awarded annually to undergraduate or graduate journalism students. 

PRSA Diversity Multicultural Scholarship

Scholarship that annually assists and recognizes young men and women for outstanding academic achievement and commitment to the practice of public relations.

Public Relations Student Society of America
Each year PRSSA presents more than $30,000 in scholarships and awards to members and Chapters who exhibit outstanding merit in public relations.

Radio Television Digital News Association Scholarships

Scholarships are open to full-time undergraduate (freshmen excluded) and graduate students pursuing careers in radio and television news. Winners are also invited to attend the Excellence in Journalism conference.

Ruggles National Right to Work Journalism Scholarship

Scripps Howard Foundation Semester in Washington Program

AEFH Scholarship

Scholarships for Single Parents in Texas
