David Dunnigan is a former editor of the NT campus newspaper and was a reporter for the Galveston News and the Dallas Morning News before entering the public relations world. He worked in corporate PR and later in the agency business. He's retired but serves on several boards including Mayborn, Perkins School of Theology, CREDO Community Choir, Greater Dallas Planning Council and Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts.He's a past president of Dallas Rotary Club, Press Club of Dallas, Public Relations Society of North Texas, Society of Professional Journalists Dallas Chapter and Dallas I-Media (the city's public access TV system). He is a widow and has two sons and four grandchildren with families in San Francisco and Jackson MS.
