Kim Keller, the first person in her family to attend college, is a veteran public relations professional and educator. She joined UNT in 2018 after serving as adjunct faculty for the University of Memphis and Texas Christian University. In addition to her academic experience, Keller has more than 25 years of professional experience thanks to her work with FedEx Corporation, the VA Medical Center, the North Carolina Small Business Center Network and various nonprofit organizations. She's been a featured writer for outlets such as Fox News Latino, Forbes, Entrepreneur and the Dallas Morning News.

Keller earned her bachelor and master's degree in journalism from the University of Memphis. She is certified in community relations by Boston College and accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America.
