Kristi Nelson Scholarship

Established to provide support for Journalism students at UNT.

Description, Requirements, and Other Information: 

This scholarship was established by Kristin Nelson to help support UNT Journalism students.

  • Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the Mayborn School of Journalism in effect at the time of any award.
  • Maintain full-time enrollment at UNT unless the student is nearing completion of his or her degree program and does not need full-time enrollment.
  • Enroll as a full-time student in any degree-granting program in the Mayborn School of Journalism.
  • Be an active member of the UNT chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists.
