Alex Copeland has covered North Texas and its communities as a freelancer since his graduation from The Mayborn School of Journalism in 2012 with a BA in Journalism Education. He taught photography, yearbook and journalism for middle and high school levels before returning to The Mayborn for his Master of Journalism, which he earned in 2018. He was most recently a reporter for Burnet County's DailyTrib and Picayune Magazine.
