Alumni Profile: Charlie Tuckness

Charlie Tuckness

By Rachel Linch

When Charlie Tuckness came to the University of North Texas in 2016 she planned to graduate with a degree in music. Then, Tuckness discovered advertising and everything changed.

"I fell into advertising, I literally just kind of stumbled into it by accident," Tuckness said. "I was in an Intro to Advertising and PR class and that's how I found advertising."

Three years later, Tuckness can still remember the moment. She was looking through her textbook for the class and found herself enjoying every chapter. "I just kind of realized that every piece of advertising was a part of me that I really wanted to excel at," Tuckness said. "It was an over and over again 'aha' moment."
