WE ARE CURRENTLY ADVISING FOR SPRING 2025 COURSE PLANNING

If you are a newly admitted student for the Spring 2025 term, your advising will occur at your new student orientation. Please contact the Office of Orientation and Transition Programs for help booking your orientation time: https://studentaffairs.unt.edu/orientation-and-transition-programs/programs/orientation

Our office is located in Sycamore Hall Room 205. We are open during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We have scheduled appointments, both virtually and in-person Monday through Friday.

Continuing students can use EAB Navigate to book their advising appointments or can call (940) 565-3365 for help booking an appointment.

You may also e-mail us your advising-related questions at JOURadvising@unt.edu. We may encourage you to set up an appointment with us if we feel that your questions are more in-depth.

Estimating Tuition, Costs and Financial Aid

Students in the Mayborn School of Journalism can receive scholarships and financial aid from UNT, the Mayborn School and other Non-UNT financial services. The UNT Office of Admissions has provided a helpful tool for estimating your total cost of attendance. Visit them here for more information and resources.
