A Message from the Dean

Andrea millerOn the day I write this, it is early in September, and I started my story as Dean of the Frank W. and Sue Mayborn School of Journalism two short months ago. What a whirlwind it has been already! The enthusiastic welcome I received from staff, faculty, alumni and students has been humbling, and it speaks to the comradery that is present and the cooperation that is yet to come. I am honored to be a part of this fantastic School. The new academic year will be another time of transition as the School settles in under the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. The Mayborn will retain much autonomy, but we look forward to the collaborations and partnerships that will make the School even stronger.

In addition to the relaunch of the website (same address, new look), the students will also create a weekly newsletter that will update viewers on what's going on in and around the UNT campus delivered right to your inbox. Thanks to director Adam Reese for his leadership on these projects this summer.
