Daniel Salinas

Daniel Salinas is from Mission, TX and a First-Generation graduate receiving his B.A. in Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Community Leadership from Sam Houston State University in May 2020.

During his undergrad years, he was actively involved with PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America), TRIO Student Support Services as an Ambassador, and SH ELITE (Establishing Leadership In & Through Education) as a Peer Mentor at Sam Houston. In addition, he worked as both a Resident Advisor with Residential Life and as a Student Assistant with Career Services during all four years of undergrad. He even got to contribute to a flash campaign collaboration with Skyy Vodka, John Cena, and the National Diversity Council (NDC) while undergoing his internship at the NDC office in Houston, TX in 2019.

While in his free time, he loves playing video games, listening to new music, creating graphic designs, trying new foods, and relaxing with his cat Mochi. Daniel's passion to helping students and giving back to a community is what he strives for practicing Sam Houston State University's motto: "The measure of a Life is its Service."
