Jake Quintanilla is joining the UNT family after recently completing his dual-degree master's program at Texas Tech University. He earned a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Mass Communication, and a graduate certificate in Advanced Digital and Social Media. Jake also earned his Bachelor of Arts in Media Strategies from Texas Tech University in 2015. During his time with Texas Tech, Jake served as the College of Media & Communication's Public Relations advisor and as one of the college's instructors for Public Speaking.

Before his time at TTU, Jake worked in the Advertising/Marketing industry in both the New York City and Chicago markets with Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, Havas Worldwide, DigitasLBi, FCB Chicago, and Havas Tonic. Jake was part of the Account and Production teams for clients such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Philips Electronics, Triumeq, Sears, MillerCoors, John Deer, Sprint, State Farm, and Restasis. During his time in the industry, he also served as a board member of the Mosaic Next Generation Leadership Council, Coalesce, and the Multicultural Advertising Internship Program Alumni Group. In these roles, Jake helped create and maintain opportunities for other multicultural professionals to enter and succeed in the advertising, public relations, and other media industries. Jake's passion outside of work is working with organizations focusing on civil and human rights, mental health initiatives, small business development, and higher education.

Jake currently serves as the Marketing Director for the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra in Lubbock, Texas, where he focuses on the orchestra's marketing and promotional efforts and the organization's community engagement.
