Patty Arellano-Tolotta is the chief marketing and communications officer for the Dallas County Community College District. Prior to assuming this position in 2018, Patty served in various communications and marketing roles at Texas Instruments for more than 16 years, including global director of digital marketing and global director of university digital marketing and STEM outreach programs.
Patty attended several DCCCD colleges before she transferred to the University of North Texas to earn a bachelor's degree in journalism and marketing and a master's degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University. She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and public relations and has directed and implemented comprehensive and innovative digital marketing and communications strategies and plans throughout her career.
She is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Dallas; served as a member of the board of directors for the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; is a Girl Scout troop leader and volunteer at her daughter's school; and has served as a mentor and coach to many early-career and seasoned professionals.
